Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. Therapy can involve opening up about parts of your life that feel personal, vulnerable, or difficult, so feeling safe and comfortable with the person you’re sharing them with really matters.
That’s why I offer a free 15-minute call before getting started. It’s a chance for us to connect, talk a little about what you’re looking for, and for me to answer any questions you might have. It also gives you a chance to get a feel for whether working together feels right for you.

Starting therapy for the first time can feel unfamiliar, and you don’t need to know exactly what to say, where to begin, or what you want to work on. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s something we can figure out together.
We’ll begin by getting to know you, what has brought you to therapy, and what has been going on in your life. I’ll help guide the conversation by asking questions and giving you space to share at your own pace. As we go, we can begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing, what you need, and where it might be helpful to focus our work together.

Many extended health benefit plans include coverage for services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW). Since coverage varies between plans, I recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your specific coverage.
Payment is made at the time of your session, and a receipt will be provided for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement, where applicable. Direct billing is not available at this time.
