Fitzpatrick Psychotherapy
Wherever you are, let’s start there.
Welcome to Fitzpatrick Psychotherapy
Sometimes you know something needs to change, even if you’re not quite sure what that change looks like yet. You might be navigating a difficult season or significant change, stuck in familiar patterns, feeling overwhelmed, or simply not feeling like yourself.
Therapy can be a space to talk openly about what you’re going through, make sense of your experiences, and better understand yourself. Together, we can explore what has been weighing on you and find ways forward that feel right for you.
You may come to therapy knowing exactly what you want to work on, or you may not know where to begin. Wherever you are, we can start there.
About Me
Hi! My name is Eimear Fitzpatrick. I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW), and I provide counselling and psychotherapy to adults experiencing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, grief and loss, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, trauma, and life transitions.
Building a strong and trusting relationship with my clients is at the heart of how I approach therapy. I strive to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and non-judgmental, where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. I take the time to truly listen and get to know you, your story, what is bringing you to therapy, what matters to you, and what you hope to get out of this work. From there, we can work together to better understand what may be contributing to the challenges you’re facing, recognize your strengths, and find ways forward that feel meaningful to you.
I believe therapy should be as individual as the person coming into the session, so my approach is flexible and tailored to you. I draw from CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and strengths-based and solution-focused approaches, with my work grounded in trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care. This allows us to make space for deeper reflection and understanding while also developing practical strategies that can support you in your everyday life.
